Nisantasi is one of Istanbul's most polished residential districts: leafy side streets, apartment blocks with doormen, boutiques, clinics, gyms, and some of the city's most reliable cafe work sessions. It's not the cheapest base, but it's practical if you want central European-side living without being directly inside the Taksim nightlife flow.
